Shop once, forget nothing, buy nothing twice
The list sorted by aisle, a look in the fridge beforehand, never hungry — and then only what is on it.
This app’s shopping list is sorted by the aisles of a typical supermarket: fruit and vegetables at the entrance, bread, then meat and fish, chilled, dry goods, spices, frozen, drinks. Shopping in that order means one pass, not three returns, and the frozen goods go in the trolley last.
- Before shopping, check the fridge and pantry and strike what you have — that is what the “have it” tick is for.
- Mark staples you always have (salt, oil, flour) as pantry in the settings — then they only appear collapsed.
- Never shop hungry — that is not a saying, it is measurable: hungry shoppers buy more and worse.
- What is not on the list stays in the shop. The exception: a special offer on something that is due next week anyway.
