How much per person? The portion rules

100 g pasta, 75 g rice, 250 g potatoes, 150 g meat per person — half for children, a quarter more for guests.

This app scales every recipe to your household size. The guide values behind it, for one main meal per adult:

  • Pasta (dry) 100–125 g · rice (dry) 75 g · potatoes 250 g · Spätzle (cooked) 200 g · dumplings 2–3
  • Meat off the bone 150–200 g · on the bone 250 g · fish 200 g · minced meat 125–150 g
  • Vegetables as a side 200 g · as a main 400 g · salad 80 g · soup 300–400 ml · stew 500 ml
  • Bread 3 slices (150 g) · cheese and cold cuts 50 g each for a bread supper
  • Children under 10: half. Teenagers and guests after sport: one and a half times. Stew always more — it gets eaten the next day.
