Method

    Beat the butter with the sugar and vanilla sugar until fluffy, beat in the eggs one at a time.

    Mix the flour with the baking powder, stir in alternately with the milk, fill into a greased springform tin.

  3. 3

    Peel, halve and core the apples, score the rounded side in a fan, squeeze lemon over, press into the batter.

    Bake at 180 °C for 45–50 minutes, cool, dust with icing sugar.
